This was my second Crimson Romance (The first was *The Bargain*), and I really enjoyed it. I would give it a PG - I read it a week ago and have read about 6 books since then; I don't remember any nasty language. I am a sucker for the "in love with the older brother's friend" stories, of which this is one. Callie is "running" from her old life, even though she doesn't want to be like her father who deserted her family. She goes home to help her mother recover from an accident, and reconnects with Danny, who is delicious. Great story. Perfect afternoon.

I love how Christine brings these two characters back together after being away from each other. That they each had their own stories to tell. That not everyone gets to grow up in a perfect scenario, but that they could face their problems together. I loved the multidimensional plot she created. This was an easy read and a delight.
I love to read. I love horror most of all, but every once in a while you come across one that' you think is not your cup of tea. I love it all the more, when proven wrong.
It was an easy read that keeps your interest throughout this book.
You know when a book is well written when as a reader you find yourself identifying with the characters in a book. Coming Home is that kind of book. This is a modern romance that has depth with the added rollercoaster of finding yourself drawn into the lives of the main characters. That's what makes this such a great book to read. The beauty of it is that it is an old fashioned romance without being graphic but leaving the romance up to the reader to imagine. Well done!!
This was an enjoyable story, but the slow build of the relationship was just too slow. They already know each other, they have a past, the feelings are there to begin with, so this is just the aching tension the whole time. If it were told from just one POV, it might have been ok. But since we get both characters thoughts and we know what they both want, it just felt too slow. Well written and nice story.
It was just o.k.. It's about a girl that's really confused in her life and travels everywhere. But she has a great mom and boyfriend back home. I sort of wished they talked more about the mom. It's still a must read if you feel like a mellow book.
Callie Sorenson has a chip on her shoulder a mile wide – with good reason – tragedy seems to stalk her life. At times I found the “chip,” that is to say, her attitude, exasperating…and yet. She has grit, she makes her own way without excuses, and she’s there when needed. Danny McCutcheon would love to help ease her angst, but reality tells him to get involved will only mean getting hurt.
Christine Feldman did a wonderful job bringing a tough storyline and hard life lessons together to make a heartwarming book that is well worth the read. Very well done.
